We are excited to welcome Anh and Ming back to Ealing,11 years after they met here working in the same salon. Having worked in the industry since their A-levels, "We wanted to create something for ourselves." In May 2018, they established Elite Laser Studio in Islington. Renamed Elite Laser & Nails, they have moved into 61 The Mall. The business has a "family sense" about it, with Ming's husband Tom joining them. Regular clients travel from Islington for their laser treatments. Cultivating client relationships is the key to their business model; you'll always see the same technician who can then monitor and customise your treatment. As Anh tells us, her favourite part of the business is that "You grow with your clients." Patri Indian restaurant has opened its third branch at 29 Bond Street, Ealing.

Puneet Wadhwani, the founder and creative director, has created a unique menu based on his childhood memories of living a bike ride away from New Dehli Train Station, by reproducing the snacks and dishes served at railside cafes and onboard trains. As travellers navigated India's historic railway stations, they could enjoy a 'girlfriend chaat,' cooked on the platform and handed through the windows of passing trains; or fragrant curries such as 'rara gosht,' cooked on board.

The Laine brewery who specialise in individuality, culture and entertainment, is about to open a new addition called Beerkat, to their portfolio at 38-39 The Broadway, next to Ali's Berlin Doner. It will be an exciting and welcome addition to Ealing's night-time economy. We're looking forward to the launch party!

Independent production company Buzz 16 Productions adds to Ealing Broadway's impressive portfolio of Film and Television production expertise.

Specialising in television, promos, and branded digital content, Buzz 16 was founded in 2016 by former Sky Sports Premier League producer Scott Melvin and football pundit Gary Neville. Their three significant projects thus far have been Gary Neville in Qatar, Class of 92, and Gary Neville's Soccerbox.

The Annual Employee Of The Year award is back to acknowledge and reward exceptional employees in our BID area. There are four categories, each with 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes, valued at £300, £200 and £100 respectively.

1. Retail Services - street-level businesses selling products to the general public

2. Commercial Services ­­- Service industry businesses, e.g. hair & beauty, health, estate agents and legal service

3. Food & Drink – cafés and restaurants 

4. Commercial Business – office sector businesses

We have also introduced a special business volunteer prize to acknowledge the hard work done by local volunteers in BID businesses. The winners will be announced on April 27

The Ealing Business Expo at the DoubleTree Hilton Hotel on Ealing Common will now run over two days. With 80 exhibition stands; live presentations; workshops; and speed networking sessions, it is an excellent opportunity for businesses to meet face to face and build connections. The annual Make It Ealing Latte Art Smackdown competition is back for its sixth year on Thursday, March 26. Come on you baristas, be the best in Ealing, show off your skills and win the first prize of £300! There will be a magnum of bubbles for the best freestyle latte art design, and drinks and nibbles for everyone taking part.
