There will be two free family fun days on March 25th in Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre and April 1st in Dickens Yard. We will be handing out flyers for businesses to give customers and doing a social media campaign. 

Window art dinosaur trail. 

We want to ensure every picture tells a story and is fun to observe, so the artist needs time to prepare. The installation dates will be the 13th-16th of March. 

We are hosting an art competition for local school children to design bunting to celebrate the Kings' Coronation in May.

It entails designing a pennant featuring either a crown or a portrait of King Charles. 

The selected pennant designs will be printed as bunting and displayed in shop windows across Ealing broadway. The shortlisted designs will be displayed at Pitzhanger Manor during the celebratory period.

The artwork must be submitted by March 17th, as the bunting takes six weeks to print. To enter download the shape of the pennant here. It fits onto an A4 piece of paper.

From April 1st, Ealing council will start implementing A board charges. The plan is for one A board per premise regardless of how many businesses operate in the unit. All A-boards must be placed against the property window and not in the middle or kerbside of the pavement.
The new charges will be introduced across the borough, with dates for compliance to be confirmed.

The Pavement License payment portal is now live with details here. The PDF application can be downloaded here. Because applications for the pavement license portal were unavailable, no enforcement action was applied, but the grace period is about to end. A pavement license will cost £100 and run out on September 30th 2023. After this date, the standard tables and chairs monthly charge license will apply.
