From Oct 1st 2021, The UK Food Information Amendment, also known as Natasha's Law, comes into effect and will require food businesses to provide detailed ingredient lists and allergen labelling on foods prepackaged for sale on the premises. Labelling is required for food that consumers select themselves from a display unit, order from a selection kept behind a counter or buy from a mobile or temporary food outlet. The legislation is to protect allergy sufferers and give them confidence in the food they buy. The Food Standards Agency has a guide on YouTube and a Sector-Specific Toolkit for every type of food business.

We are changing our recycling suppliers in October. All businesses can claim an allocation of free recycling based on the BID levy payable. We are dotting the I's and crossing the T's now but will send out information to businesses outlining their services allocation and the changeover. Our new contract will offer significant savings for businesses who need to purchase bags to top up their free allowance.
