Eligibility for the January Lockdown grant and one-off Lockdown payment was based on the Lockdown 2 grant applications in November. Some businesses have wrongly assumed the grants would be allocated based on the 1st lockdown criteria and missed the November application deadline.
Applications for Lockdown 2 & 3 grant have re-opened but will close again on 22 February, do not delay, apply now.

Businesses will only get a grant if they are mandated to close by law. Companies can find the closure details and the terms of their restrictions here.  If your business does not qualify for any of the current grants, you may be eligible for the coronavirus Additional Restrictions Grant, (ARG) here. 

The eligibility criteria will be published on 26 February and will include the following requirements.  

• The business must have ongoing, fixed building/trading premises related costs.
• Have been trading on 5 November 2020
• Be able to demonstrate that it has suffered a significant fall in income due to the Covid-19 epidemic.
• Be registered in and have a principal trading address within Ealing. 
• Not eligible or receive any existing government grants.
