With the unwelcome introduction of Tier 4, Christmas is going to be quieter than usual. With time to reflect on a year that will go down in history, we ask everyone to do just one thing over the Christmas break.

Please take 30 seconds to sign a letter to lobby your local MP to demand a cut in business rates to save local shops, protect jobs and support our communities.

It may have been a little quieter than usual but working from home didn't get in the way of the Christmas Jumper day! Businesses got involved with Save The Children's annual fundraiser Christmas Jumper Day (as did we in the MIE office!) It was great fun seeing everyone's pictures, and we are glad that everyone could find some joy and generosity even in such stressful times.
Northfields, Mary's Living and Giving, H&M donated £2 for every staff member in the UK & Ireland, Superdrug Ealing, Ealing Independent College & Arden University.

We are also thrilled to see the Make It Ealing teddy bear featured in 'Within London's' Christmas in London album as a must visit attraction. 

Local businesses have been getting into the festive spirit with beautifully decorated windows, Chana Chemist, Café Zee, Flowers and Gardens, W5 Bistro and Artisan

With the help of the art teacher and students at Christ The Saviour school, we’ve managed to keep up our tradition of decorating Christmas baubles – even in these unusual circumstances.

The students have had great fun making baubles with photos of themselves and we’ve been thrilled to hear that many of them are now hanging in pride of place on their Christmas trees.

First Mile collection services in Tier 4 will be affected so; please book collections through your First Mile portal to ensure continued service.
