Congratulations to West London English School for an ‘OUTSTANDING’BRITISH COUNCIL REPORT

West London English School in Ealing Broadway, has received an ‘OUTSTANDING’ British Council inspection report. The British Council inspected and re-accredited the school in May and July this year. The Accreditation Scheme carried out every four years assesses the standards of management, premises and resources, teaching and learning, welfare and student services and safeguarding of under 18s.
Asif Musa, Managing Director, said ‘This is a great achievement for our school and for the Ealing community. Being accredited by the British Council is something we have always been very proud of, but we are especially thrilled with the strengths we have been awarded this year.
Situated opposite the Ealing council building, the privately-owned family-run West London English School provides English language courses to speakers of other languages. It runs a range of courses to enable flexible learning schedules from Monday – Saturday, in General English conversation classes and Business English from beginner to proficient.
WEST LONDON ENGLISH SCHOOL is also an official OET Premium Preparation Course Provider, one of only four schools in London. The Occupational English Test (OET) is an English language exam for medical professionals so they can work in the UK.
Harmi Bains, course director, said, ‘Since offering the courses in February 2018, we have gone from strength to strength. Our growing success has meant that there is more demand for our courses. However, this doesn’t mean that the quality of teaching is compromised. In fact, it’s the opposite – the standard of our courses get higher and higher. We also ensure that our class sizes are a maximum of eight, ensuring that our students receive personalised feedback from our tutors.
‘We have worked with many different nationalities and have had students from all over the world travel to the UK just to study with us. Some of those countries include: Brazil, Italy, India, Saudi Arabia and Switzerland. It has been rewarding seeing our OET department grow and become so successful. The real rewards, however, are in helping so many doctors and nurses pass the OET.’
